The Winter Farmers’ Market, held in the Historic 4th and Gill neighborhood, will host farm & food vendors selling pasture-raised meats, eggs, winter produce, honey, baked goods, artisan foods, and more. Outside, food trucks will be serving up lunch from locally sourced ingredients.
New this year: In collaboration with the Knox County Health Department, we’ll offer a Power of Produce (PoP) Club Children’s Activity at every winter market this season!
We’re seeking PoP Club Sponsorship for our 2017 Winter Farmers’ Market; please email us if you’re interested in sponsoring this dynamic and educational kid-centered experience!
PoP Club Activities: Children 2 years to 12 years old are invited to participate in the PoP Club activity at each of our 8 markets. Each PoP Club will offer local produce to taste, a food-related activity or craft and PoP Bucks for kids to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables at market. Please remember, all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Please note: there will be no pets allowed indoors.
From West Knoxville –
Take I40 Eastbound to exit 388 (Downtown). Stay in the hard right curve to the top of the exit; you will be at a stoplight on Western Ave. Turn left. Go to next stoplight; turn left again. This puts you on Broadway, headed away from town. Go through 4 stoplights (4th light is Central Avenue). Go one more block; turn right on LaMar. You will see the back of the church. Parking on the street is ok; lots are behind and on either side of the church.
From Fountain City –
Go southbound on Broadway. Last stoplight before turning is at Broadway & Gill; a Domino’s Pizza is on the left corner. Go three more blocks, turn left on Morgan or LaMar. You will see the back of the church. Parking as above.
